Description:
This is a
5 poster awareness raising campaign proposal for child injuries. The aim
of this campaign is to influcence global decision makers at WHO to adopt
appropriate strategy and assign funds to reduce accidents in children
world wide. The research for this project analyzes
the World report on child injury prevention, covering the number of children
killed, the regions and genders most affected and the prevention strategies
being recommended. The campaign includes a wide research
of statistical data related to child accidetns in various regions and
also documents stories of affected individuals and their families.
The campaign's purpose is to communicate effectively about the
World report on child injury to policy makers from different countries
and having different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. The
images try to visually create discomfort and pain to communicate the seriousness
of the issue. Faces of children from different ethnic groups, age groups
and gender are used to cover the assiged demographic and nature of the
accidents.
